Every summer the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore presents a full season of free activities that run the gamut from exciting concerts to riveting lectures for the entire family. In 2012 Dr. Greg Skomal, noted shark researcher, presented "Jaws Comes Home." The 2013 summer season featured IFAW's Brian Sharp who presented "From Right Whales to Gray Seals: Stranding Response on Cape Cod." For 2014 renowned naturalist Peter Trull will be speaking about "The Symbiotic Relationship in Humpback Whales and Marine Birds." Music events each summer include concerts by groups such as "Toast and Jam," "Billy and Beth," The Rum Soaked Crooks" and the "Outer Cape Chorale Chamber Singers." Additionally, the Friends sponsor performers such as Zoe Lewis, Peter Donnelly and Chandler Travis at the Herring Cove Concerts in Provincetown.
