Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore Welcomes Two New Board Members
Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore is pleased to announce that Sarah Bellamy and Christian Termyn have joined its board of directors.
Sarah Bellamy
Sarah is the founder and managing partner of Pluperfect, a brand strategy and design agency she launched in New York in 2013, focused on strategic positioning, portfolio strategy, and organizational naming and visual expression. Before starting Pluperfect, she was a partner at Prophet and a senior partner at Lippincott, where she led the firm's naming and non-profit practice groups. She began her career as an associate at Oliver Wyman, working across London, San Francisco, and New York in strategy consulting. Over the course of her career, Sarah has worked with non-profit organizations including Atlantic Fellows, Cascade PBS, the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Science, GLAAD, the Global Brain Health Institute, Greater Good Charities, Rare, the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, and UVA. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford and an M.A. in Culture, Communication and Film Studies from New York University.
Sarah and her two children split their time between New York City and Eastham, but as she puts it, her head and heart are always in the Seashore. Her favorite spot is just south of Nauset Light, along the walk to the inlet, where the lighthouse can just be seen peeking through the cliff, a stop she makes every time she visits.
Christian Termyn
Christian is an environmental lawyer and part-time resident of Eastham. He grew up in Medfield, Massachusetts, treasuring visits to grandparents and great-grandparents on the Outer Cape. The unique culture and ecology of the region inspired his education and now his legal practice, focused on land use, conservation, and the energy transition.
He and his family owe much to the Seashore, and he is grateful for any opportunity to contribute to its preservation. Termyn shared that his favorite place on the Seashore is Hemenway Landing, which has always been his family's gateway to Nauset Marsh and the outer beach.
Chris currently lives with his wife, Amy, and their two young boys in Oakland, California, but is excited to be pursuing a move to Eastham. He is a graduate of Yale (2010) and Columbia Law School (2017).
