Join us for a Red Maple Swamp Trail Celebration - Friday, May 24 at 10 am. The major phase of the Red Maple Swamp Trail rehabilitation is complete! Join us for remarks, show and tell of innovative equipment and methods, and a short walk as we officially reopen the trail and acknowledge the major contribution by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Meet at Hemenway Landing, at the end of Hemenway Road, off Route 6, Eastham.

Earth Day Clean Up

Our annual Earth Day Coastal Clean Up will take place on Saturday, April 20 at 9 AM. (No rain date.) Please join us at Herring Cove Beach, south parking area, in Provincetown. Bring sturdy gloves. Co-sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore and the Center for Coastal Studies.

Cape Cod's waters are part of a natural and wild marine ecosystem with a rich diversity of sea life, including sharks. The national seashore is committed to continuing to explore ways to educate the public to help reduce risk when recreating in wild habitats.
